Know exactly where your attendance stands
Most colleges require a minimum attendance β often 75%. This calculator shows your current percentage and does the harder maths too: how many classes you must attend in a row to climb to your target, or how many you can safely miss while staying above it.
The attendance formula
Attendance % = (classes attended Γ· total classes) Γ 100. To reach a target you must
attend future classes until (attended + x) Γ· (total + x) meets it; to skip safely you
need attended Γ· (total + skipped) to stay at or above the target. The calculator solves
both for you.
How to use the Attendance Calculator
- Enter classes attended. Type how many classes you have attended so far.
- Enter total classes. Add the total number of classes held so far.
- Set your target. Choose the attendance percentage you need to maintain.
- Read the verdict. See your current percentage and how many classes to attend or skip.
Frequently asked questions
How many classes must I attend to reach my target?
If you are below target, the calculator finds the smallest number of consecutive future classes that lifts your percentage to the target, assuming you attend all of them.
How many classes can I skip?
If you are already above target, it shows how many upcoming classes you could miss before your attendance would drop below the target.
Why does it say a target is impossible?
Once you have missed a class you can never reach 100%, so a 100% target is flagged as unreachable if any class has been missed.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. The calculation happens entirely in your browser.
